故事
军事企业组织 MUCOC（MUltinational COmpanys Community ＝ 跨国企业共同体）与 IUTO（International Unification Treaty Organization ＝ 国际统合条约机构）之间持续十余年的战争，令双方疲惫不堪，陷入僵局。
为了打破僵局，MUCOC 舰队集结残存兵力，发动地球降下作战。
IUTO 虽然未能阻止敌军降下，但以拼死的抵抗阻止了战线扩大。
然而，IUTO 并没有足够的余力，反攻作战只能交给由新兵与预备兵力拼凑而成的部队。
部队名为统合空军第 8 战术飞行队“蓝色军刀（Blue Sabers）”。
后来被称为“第二次 MUCOC 战役”的战斗，就此拉开序幕。
游戏玩法
一边用强力武装杀出血路，一边巧妙地进行补给，是本作最大的重点。
请求支援机“迦楼罗”出击，就能补充特殊武器并恢复自机的护盾。
呼叫迦楼罗的时机，正是胜利的关键。
