故事
軍事企業組織 MUCOC（MUltinational COmpanys Community ＝ 跨國企業共同體）與 IUTO（International Unification Treaty Organization ＝ 國際統合條約機構）之間持續十餘年的戰爭，令雙方疲憊不堪，陷入僵局。
為了打破僵局，MUCOC 艦隊集結殘存兵力，發動地球降下作戰。
IUTO 雖然未能阻止敵軍降下，但以拼死的抵抗阻止了戰線擴大。
然而，IUTO 並沒有足夠的餘力，反攻作戰只能交給由新兵與預備兵力拼湊而成的部隊。
部隊名為統合空軍第 8 戰術飛行隊「藍色軍刀（Blue Sabers）」。
後來被稱為「第二次 MUCOC 戰役」的戰鬥，就此拉開序幕。
遊戲玩法
一邊用強力武裝殺出血路，一邊巧妙地進行補給，是本作最大的重點。
請求支援機「迦樓羅」出擊，就能補充特殊武器並恢復自機的護盾。
呼叫迦樓羅的時機，正是勝利的關鍵。
