故事
西元 2005 年。地球的殖民行星西格·菲爾多尼亞，突然遭到阿德利人艦隊的襲擊。
殲滅了軌道上 TDF（地球防衛軍）艦隊的阿德利人，接連將行星全境要塞化。
在救援艦隊相繼被擊破的情況下，留在地表的 TDF 殘存部隊決定以僅存的兵力，發動孤注一擲的攻勢。
——作戰代號「WOLFLAME」
這是兩個燃燒著領土擴張野心的星系相互衝突所引發的悲劇。

普林尼烏斯級護衛艦
西博爾德（Siebold）
搭載於巡洋艦明斯克上的實驗用小型護衛艦。
通過組合左舷與右舷搭載的、名為「衛星（Satellite）」的攻擊單元，能夠採取各種不同的戰術。
這種「衛星」原本是哥哥戰爭時期，由超電氣化學研究所為「魔女機器人 Meglilo」專門開發的超小型武器。
