故事

以 12 年前的哥哥戰爭為契機，人類引進了異世界文明的高度技術，地球科學得到飛躍性的發展。
國家之間的對立急劇減少，人類成立了地球聯邦，
即將迎來史無前例的繁榮時代。
然而，和平突然被打破。
企圖將新世界秩序據為己有而武裝起義的秘密結社——「新羅蘭黨」。
他們駕駛從 TDF（地球防衛軍）奪來的兵器，向全世界發動了總攻擊。

自機
SER-32 Surveyor
1987 年由超電氣化學研究所開發的飛行型 MCR（載人戰鬥機器人）。
這是一架裝甲遠比其他 MCR 薄弱的電磁護盾試驗機，卻在第二次羅蘭戰爭中被拉來充數。
參與作戰之際，天護博士擅自為其搭載了高輸出引擎，使它脫胎換骨，成為遠超以往 MCR 的高機動型機體。
